Save Kahului Harbor is a group dedicated to long range, sensible planning for Maui's ocean transportation needs.

Rather than applying patchwork fixes that destroy our environment and cultural resources, we believe that a comprehensive plan that takes account of all factors including:

• Goods & Fuel Imports
• Maui Exports
• Minimizing ocean routes
• Minimizing land transportation
• Minimize traffic congestion
• Infrastructure
• Reefs and natural resources
• Cultural activities
• Surfing & paddling
• Cost/benefit of cruise ships
• Minimizing invasive species

This requires that we look at the big picture including a realistic look at the cost/benefit of the cruise industry and the super ferry.
